increasing font size vista without changing dpi

Increasing font size in Vista without changing DPI ??

Hi,
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 running at 1680x1050. As usual, all the fonts and icons appear smaller, which is ok for me but not for my family. Changing DPI doesn't help because the icons appear blurred. In WinXP, there was an option to increase the font size without changing the DPI. So I choose, 96 DPI without Large fonts which worked perfectly for me.
But unfortunately in Vista, the Large font option is removed. So, is there any other alternative or hack to increase the font size without making the icons look blurred.
Best
Regards, Amar.

Control Panel, Ease of Access, Ease of Access Center, Optimize Visual Display, Change the Size and Amount of Information that Appears on the Screen, DPI Scaling, Larger Scale : 120 DPI, or have you already tried this, re you stating changing DPI doesn't help?
